Information you need to know when you are participating in programs in China.

• To change your salary to Dollars you need the following:

1. Your Passport
2. Your "Work" Visa
3. Your Contract
4. statement from the school saying that you have paid income taxes to China

ALL of these documents must be presented at the Bank of China, and only the Bank of China, in order to change your salary to Dollars.

• Health Card:

Anyone travelling between countries is recommended to have a "WHO" card (World Health Organization). It is a yellow card that lists all your vacinations and important medical information. You can get them from any travel clinic. If you do not have a travel clinc near you, try your school health services, or go to your local hospital. Maybe they can assist you in getting one. It is good to have one both for entering foreign countries and returning to your home country. It is to be kept with your passport at all times. Many countries will not allow you through their borders without one.
